This two piece needle set has a blunt outer Cannula chamfered on the inside to form a sharp cutting edge and a closely matched fitted blunt stylet. When firmly pressed into the media a small size sample is easily cut and can be transferred to another site. The sample can be delivered by inserting the fitted obturator (stylet), permitting the maintence of sterile field.
